Educational and Professional Backround
A passion for helping others led me down the path of Medicine. I never really considered any other career as a child.
I am a Methodist Ladies'College Collegian and went straight to medical school at UWA. In 1995 I started my residency at Royal Perth Hospital. Through this I was seconded to Swan Districts Hospital and Bunbury Regional Hospital and Princess Margarget Hospital (as they were all known then - and doesn't that make me feel my age!) for their emergency departments. As part of my early general practice experience I worked at King Edward Memorial Hopsital and studied a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I have worked as a GP in Westminster as well as Shenton Park, while combining sessions at FPWA and its adolescent centre in Fremantle, mainly in the areas of contraception, STIs and pregnancy.
I have lived in the UK for over 2 years (non consecutive) where I was a registrar in their Genito-Urinary and Rheumatology clinics.

Having both children and elderly parents has changed my outlook. I believe I am more empathetic and experienced in combining illness and day to day life and understand the concerns that many people have.
As a professional Doctor since 1995, I bring a holistic approach to medicine in order to find comfortable and effective solutions for everyone.
